“If you want to try authentic Cuban food, this is the place. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and charming décor. If you visit on weekdays, they offer daily specials. My family decided to order from the regular menu. To start, we had the beef empanadas, which were delicious, and the ham croquettes, which were very tasty. For our main dishes, we ordered ropa vieja served with moro rice and sweet plantains, roast pork with salad, a Cuban sandwich with French fries, and chicken breast with rice and beans. All the portions were generous, and everything was flavorful. For dessert, we enjoyed tres leches cake, café con leche, and a cortadito. We were amazed by the price. Six people (appetizers, drinks, entrées, dessert, and coffee) for only $120.32 plus gratuity. If you pay with cash, it’s even more affordable. Excellent service and the owner is nice. 100% recommended.”

“This place is definitely hidden from the plethora of restaurants on bergenline. It’s basically a cafeteria with a bar, the waitresses are nice to the point - just know what you want. Only reason why the review loses is a star is the “cuban tamale” its not , no meat/pork - it’s basically an elote (corn tamale). It ain’t terrible for an elote but a traditional Mexican restaurant would be the ideal spot for that. The food is actually good , nowadays outside food especially “cuban” food is trash - nothing like abuela / mama / tia. It will hit the spot! The croquetas were soft, they could’ve been fried more to get them crispy. The mondongo was delicious, generous portions of tripe! Would definitely return, recommend (except the tamale)”

“Great setting and ambiences. Open late. Great prices. I had the chicken soup it gets a solid 8/10. Taste super home made with so much flavor even tho in the pics it may not look like it. No only am I coming back again but I'm making this place a staple. The staff is super friendly with ultra fast service too”
